who we are

The F.A.D.E.D. Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals affected by incarceration by providing vocational skills, specifically in the barbering profession, to foster economic independence and reduce recidivism. By creating pathways to education, mentorship, and employment, the foundation aims to disrupt cycles of generational incarceration and provide opportunities for a fresh start.

Local Barber Gives Back On Both Sides Of The Clippers

To local barber Antoine Carey, being in business is just as much about making a difference as making a dollar.

For the past nine months, Carey and his team from Faded & Co. barbershop have offered free haircuts to anyone interested or in need on the first and third Mondays of the month at the Central Rappahannock Regional Library in downtown Fredericksburg.

Community Service

The FADED Foundation recently held a series of events at schools and non-profit organizations, providing free haircuts to students and community members. These videos capture the heart of the initiative, featuring skilled barbers hard at work while creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The shared smiles and laughter between the barbers and recipients embody the spirit of community that the FADED Foundation strives to nurture.
